Not directed to children

queer.bar is a nightlife platform intended for adults. The service is not directed to children under 13, and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

COPPA

Under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), online services directed to children under 13 must meet strict requirements. queer.bar is not such a service: it is an 18+ nightlife product and does not target or knowingly serve under-13s.

If we learn of an under-13 user

If we become aware that we hold personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a child under 13 has provided information can contact privacy@queer.bar to request deletion.

Under-18s

Even between 13 and 17, this platform is not intended for you, and adult/nightlife content is gated to verified 18+ users. Please come back when you're 18.

Age gating

See our Age Verification & 18+ Content policy for how we gate adult content via self-attested date of birth.

These documents are provided in good faith and describe how queer.bar currently works. They are drafts and not legal advice; have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer before relying on them. Compliance with GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and US/EU privacy laws is an ongoing organisational responsibility, not something software alone establishes.
