Terms of Service

Last updated July 2026

Acceptance

By creating an account or using queer.bar you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — to be completed].

Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use queer.bar. Some content and the Underground layer are for adults only and are gated by age verification. You must not use the service if you are under 18, and you must not help anyone under 18 access adult content.

Your account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information (including a truthful date of birth). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a licence to host, display and distribute your content within the service so we can operate it. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to share it. Do not post unlawful content, non-consensual intimate imagery, or anyone's private information without consent.

Acceptable use

Follow our Community Guidelines. No harassment, hate, doxxing, spam, scams, impersonation, or attempts to bypass age gating or security. We may remove content and restrict accounts as described in our Safety & Moderation Policy, and you may appeal.

Payments

Paid features (subscriptions, tickets, items) are billed through Stripe. Prices and what each plan includes are shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Refunds are handled per the applicable listing and law, including any statutory withdrawal/cancellation rights you have as a consumer.

Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is" and is an early-stage product. To the extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your non-excludable consumer rights). Venues, events and third parties are responsible for their own offerings and in-person age checks.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Privacy Settings. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms or where required by law.

Changes & contact

We may update these Terms; material changes will be signposted in-app. Questions: privacy@queer.bar. Governing law and venue: [JURISDICTION — to be completed].

These documents are provided in good faith and describe how queer.bar actually works today. They are drafts, not legal advice; have them reviewed by a qualified lawyer and complete the bracketed operator details before relying on them. Compliance with the EU GDPR, UK GDPR / Data Protection Act 2018, the US state privacy laws (incl. CCPA/CPRA) and other applicable regimes is an ongoing organisational responsibility, not something software alone establishes.
